With vitamin C and fructooligosaccharides (FOS)
At Lamberts Cranberry is obtained from fresh ripe fruits (cranberries) which are first cleaned and disinfected to remove unwanted ingredients. The juice produced by the fruit processing is then dried at low pressure and temperature and pulverized. The final stage of production involves spraying the powder with dry air leading to the preparation of the final product that does not contain sugar. The whole process of preparation of the preparation ensures the possibility of administration to individuals who follow diets with specific calorie restrictions.
About 25 grams of fresh cranberry`s are required to make 1 gram of concentrated powder.
To improve the taste, Lamberts Cranberry is mixed with fructo-oligosaccharides. Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) are a form of soluble carbohydrates that are extracted from the endive root and have sweetening properties, without being contraindicated by people on a reduced carbohydrate diet.
The comparison of the potency of the various Cranberry preparations on the market should be based on the total amount of Cranberry contained in each dose taken. Cranberry Complex Lamberts contains 3% proanthocyanidins and per 5 g of powder yields 2470mg (2.47gr) CranberryPowder. To make 1 gram of concentrated powder requires about 25 grams of fresh cranberries ’, so for each dose of 5 g of powder (2.47grCranberry) 2.47x 25 = 61.75 grams of fresh cranberries’ are required!
